Dr. Tara Robertson practices from a multidisciplinary approach and strives to normalize the treatment process for her patients. She understands that individuals are sometimes faced with difficult circumstances and seeks to maximize their personal strengths through these stressful times. Dr. Robertson believes that it is important to provide comprehensive care by collaborating with other providers, while addressing her patients cultural and spiritual needs. Dr. Robertson practices from the cognitive behavioral orientation, and has over 12 years of experience working with children, families, couples, and adults. She has additional behavioral medicine training in the treatment of chronic medical conditions, such as pain, obesity, and diabetes. Dr. Robertson also conducts pre-surgical and competency evaluations, while providing consult liaison services in the hospital and clinic settings. Additional outpatient interests include psychological assessment, eating, mood, anxiety, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.
