Houck Homes, Inc is your hometown "Little Bitty Country Manufactured Housing Dealer" family owned and operated Since1961. Houck Homes Inc originally L.S. Houck Sales & Service was started in 1961 by Leo Houck on Old 22 west of Hamburg, Pennsylvania. As business grew he saw the need to move the sales lot to a more highly traveled road. He found a lot to rent at the light on Rt. 61 in Shoemakersville, PA in 1967. This increased business and in 1970 he purchased the sales center where we are now located, about 1 mile north of the rented lot on Rt. 61. In August of 1973, Leo Houck passed away and Athian, his daughter, bought the business and still owns it to this day. Through many of the years that Athian owned the business, it was known as Houck Mobile Homes, but in 1996 Athian incorporated the business. The legal name of the company changed to Houck Homes Inc to change with the industry standards. Through the years the manufactured housing industry has come a long way. Today the industry has an overall interest in product safety, durability and affordability. We, Houck Homes Inc feel that our product is one at the "top-of-the-line". Exceptional materials are used in the production of our Skyline Homes such as 2 x 6 northern pine lumber from Canada, Owens-Corning Insulation, roof ice shields, Whirlpool appliances, and brand name wallboards, flooring, and countertop materials. Also all our Skyline & Eagle River Homes are inspected by PSF, a third party agency which gives the buyers an extra margin of protection. When ordering a home, the style, floor plan, interior and exterior colors, and options are chosen by the customer to accommodate their needs and/or desires. Since we are a family owned and operated business, when you purchase a home from us we personally deliver your home, have it set and handle service requests. Houck Homes, Inc also offers other products and services such as furniture, mobile home and RV Storage, and transportation services for mobile homes. We also offer in-house financing, land/home packages, and park spaces in the Berks & Schuylkill Counties and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania.
