The Rhythm! Discovery Center is an interactive percussion museum in downtown Indianapolis. The 15,000-square-foot center has more than 100 interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for children. The museum focuses on music and rhythm to educate visitors about different cultures.

Best and worst time to go to the Rhythm! Discovery Center
One of the best times to visit the Rhythm! Discovery Center is later in the day and closer to closing time because it is less crowded. One of the worst times to visit the center is on weekends because of the crowds.

Must see/do at the Rhythm! Discovery Center 
One of the most popular attractions at the Rhythm! Discovery Center is the Interactive Area. Visitors can play a variety of percussion instruments including drums and xylophones. The DRUMset: Driving the Beat of American Music is another popular attraction that has actual instruments from famous bands. You also do not want to miss the Instrument Origins: Wood, Skin, Metal exhibit that lets you play with sound waves.

Admission to the Rhythm! Discovery Center 
Admission for adults is in the $10 range. Admission for children is in the $5 to $10 range. Children who have a valid student ID can get a discount on admission.

Parking and public transportation to the Rhythm! Discovery Center
Parking is available at lots in the downtown area. The Rhythm! Discovery Center is also close to the Circle Centre Mall parking garage. It is recommended that you drive to the museum because it is more convenient.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Historical Society is a museum dedicated to Los Angeles firefighters. The historic site was established in 1960 and was rebuilt in 2001 after suffering earthquake damage. The museum contains artifacts dating as far back as the 1800s, including an old fireboat No. 2, helmets, gear and water pumps. A fallen firefighter memorial is located in the courtyard in front of the museum. The museum is run by volunteers and is only open on Saturdays between 10am and 4pm.

The Schindler House is a landmark architectural and historic site in West Hollywood. It was designed by Viennese emigre Rudolf Schindler in the 1920s for his family and other artists. It is considered the first house built in the Modern style. The design of the house was unique for its cooperative live and work spaces, industrial materials and integration of interior and exterior environments. Over its history, the house was a gathering place for progressive and avant-garde artists. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. It has been operated by the MAK Center for Art and Architecture since 1994. The organization is a satellite of the MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts/Contemporary Art in Vienna.
