Canine Clubhouse provides sitting, boarding and grooming services for dogs. Dogs are provided with sleeping areas, toys and company, as well as a chance to socialize and play with other dogs. All dogs must be older than 12 weeks, spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccines and must pass a temperament exam to ensure everyone has a safe and pleasant time. Dog treats and training programs also are available.
Paw Spa provides pet grooming and day spa services. It is located inside the Riverdale Farms Shopping Area, and opened in 2012. It works with dogs and cats, providing them with a peaceful and compassionate environment. Services include warm massaging baths, fur trims and custom styling, ad "pawdicure" nail trimming. The company uses safe, environmentally responsible products. Pets are groomed by appointment only.
Located on Lovely Street, this beautiful facility houses a veterinary hospital, kennel and doggy daycare. Under the direction of Drs. Berk, Staudacher, Hersey-Benner and van der Giessen, your animals will not only receive the latest in medical care but a kind and gentle touch as well. Its goal is preventative medicine for your pets through vaccinations, dental care and dietary planning. The vets are well-schooled in the care of aging pets and can help you manage the specific needs of an older dog or cat. Exotic pets are welcome at Roaring Brook, and your birds, lizards and reptiles can receive their medical care and check-ups here.
The kennel offers boarding for dogs, cats and exotic animals when you are away. If you have a busy schedule that doesn't allow for playtime with your pet, you will want to check out the doggy daycare program, which includes two outdoor play areas and one indoor playroom. Don't forget to stop by the snack bar while you are there and treat your dog to some doggy hot dogs, fries and a frozen dog treat.
There is also a grooming center on-site.
Roaring Brook Kennels is located on Lovely Street, not far from the Albany Turnpike in Canton. It has been open for more than 20 years, providing boarding for dogs, cats and has even been home to birds, fish, reptiles and rodents. The kennel also offers, grooming, playtime, exercise and a day care. It is located behind the Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital.
