At VCA Rutherford Animal Hospital, our emphasis is on disease prevention! We consider the annual/biannual exams the most important thing you can do to keep your pet healthy. At this time we will check all body systems, make dental anad dietary recommendations and discuss any diagnostic tests that may be necessary. We strongly advise that all pets be vaccinated with distemper and rabies according to the recommendations of AAHA and the AVMA. No animals will be admitted into the hospital without current vaccinations. Other vaccinations and yearly preventative health measures are recommended and will be discussed with you by a member of our healthcare team. Whatever your pets health problem, we at RAH are dedicated to making your companion healthy, in a caring environment, with the least amount of stress possible.
