After just 6 short months the partners broke up and went their separate directions with the original partner, Gary Bagnall, moving the business to the first warehouse on Logan Ave. in Costa Mesa, California. On the advice of one of their best customers, Ollie at Petown, the name was changed to California Zoological Supply A company is only as good as its employees. Some very talented reptile people are still working Cal Zoo 10 to 15 years later. These people are; Mike Barnes, Damon Gasporra and Rafael Montalvo. The driving force behind Cal Zoo Since the mid 80s has been Tyrone Dillon. Tyrone has directed Cal Zoo ever since Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc, was created in an adjacent building. If it werent for the financial support of Cal Zoo the first 2 years, Zoo Med would not have survived. Of course, these fine employees would not be here if it were not for the continued support from loyal customers like you. We owe you, our loyal customer, old and new, a great deal of gratitude.
