The Harrison House of Georgetown provides state-of-the-art therapeutic services to meet resident needs in eastern Connecticut and western New York. Its therapy department includes physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy designed to assist each resident achieve full potential. Harrison House has licensed nurses and nursing assistants who have been trained to provide personalized care. An ongoing assessment of each residents condition contributes to a care plan developed by the staff with family participation. The dining rooms feature restaurant services that include special diets that are planned by its dietitian, as well as seasonal menus that are available throughout the year. Living accommodations are provided in private and semi-private rooms with adjoining baths. Rooms can be personalized with furniture and decorative items. The Sussex Wing is secured to prevent wandering while providing personalized care to residents with Alzheimer s and Dementia. The Harrison House of Georgetown is proud to be JCAHO accredited.
