Cassville Baptist Church is all about raising up men and women to be good Christian examples to their families and the community. It offers many fellowship opportunities such as the Women's Missionary Union, Growing Men, Heart to Heart, G.R.O.W. Visitation, Friendship Kitchen, Awana and Connect. Worship services are given on Sundays and Wednesdays.
The Vine Community Church is a community loving church that is nestled in the valley off Bethelview Road. It holds two services on Sunday and has various small group meetings throughout the week. The church grounds are beautifully maintained and it has a playground for small children to the side of the church.
Parkway Presbyterian is a "confessing church" that offers ministries to men, women and youth. There is a playground in the back of the church for the children. A beautiful round-a-bout is located in the front of the church and a beautiful foyer welcomes all guests to the sanctuary.
Castleberry Road Baptist Church is located on Castleberry Rd. just off Atlanta Hwy. The church has services on Wednesday evenings and Sundays. The church also offers child care and bible study groups. Please refer to its Web site for full calendar details.
Located within the Northminster Presbyterian Church, this school is open for half-days only. It is not open on weekends, and is closed during summer. Classes resume in fall.
Berean Baptist Church is located on the corner of Highway 9 and Majors Road. It offers Sunday school for children and adults on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. Its Sunday morning worship service is at 11 a.m., and its Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. It also has a Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. The church has two vans for member trips and Bible school.
Christ Church Episcopal welcomes everyone. The church offers two services on Sunday—the first in English and the second in Spanish. A youth center academy is located on-site for parents who wish to enroll their children. A thrift store and church office are located next to the church, both open to the public (not just members). People can even stop by and enjoy their lunch at the picnic tables on site. Bible study classes are also available.
Mountain Lake Church opened in January 2000 and held its first services in a school cafeteria. It has grown into its new facility on Dahlonega Highway near Coal Mountain with a 1,200-seat auditorium. Mountain Lake wants to change the way you think about church by offering uplifting worship services and encouraging biblical messages, friendly people and all types of children's ministries. Its focus is for Mountain Lake to be a place to belong and become all that God wants for you. Visit their cafe for a cup of coffee before service.
Life Ministries Today offers a variety of services including discipleship counseling, men's and women's retreats, life groups and workshops, life coaching, speaking opportunities for churches, retreats and premarital counseling. Counseling is biblically-based, Christ-centered and belief-system oriented. LMT will explore how one's belief system originated, developed and continues to influence life. Individual counselors are partnered with participants in the teaching of a new belief system.
Pleasant View Baptist Church is located at the intersection of 141 and Majors Road. It offers Sunday school at 10am for all ages, and traditional worship at 11am. It has choir practice, Bible study and, typically, a meal on Wednesday nights. It believes in a Triune God and in salvation through Jesus Christ and practices baptism by immersion. Pleasant View is a member of the Hightower Baptist Association.
