Since 1946, the majestic church has been opening its doors to the community with a goal of "touching lives with Jesus' love." Worship occurs every Sunday, but when services are not taking place, the church is used as a center for early learning and also serves as a meeting place for children and family ministry programs. CHRISTchurch is a non-denominational Christian church. The Sunday service features upbeat, contemporary Christian music with the church's own band, followed with teaching by one of the pastors. A secure, safe nursery is available for infants and small children up to two years old. Older kids, age two through sixth grade can attend Sunday School classes after the service. Many opportunities are available for further involvement, including groups for women, men, youth and other small groups.
Five Oaks Community Church is a religious institution serving Woodbury and the surrounding areas. The church offers weekly prayer services and provides a safe and welcoming environment for patrons to worship. This parish was organized in the late 1970s to serve the fast-growing suburban area. It held its first services in 1981 in several rented spaces. The first church opened in 1984 to serve a congreagation of more than 1,000 households. in 1989 the parish completed an expansion adding about 9,000 square feet of worship, office and multi-use space.
Celebration Church has worship services in a beautiful state-of-the-art sanctuary, with almost 1,000 comfortable theater-style seats. Free Caribou coffee is served in the main lobby during services.
