Merrimack Valley Baptist Church is a Christ-centered church. On Sunday it has service at three different times with child care available during all three church services for kids ages 0-36 months. Sunday School is available for the two morning services. On Wednesday a teen and adult Bible study group is held.

The Congregational Church offers a Sunday worship service and a variety of outreach and fellowship opportunities, including youth groups and adult education. Music is an important element of the church's worship, with more than 120 participants. The church building is of historical significance and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Messiah Lutheran Church is part of the New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The members of the church primarily live in Amherst, Milford, Merrimack, Mt. Vernon, Hollis, Bedford and New Boston in New Hampshire. There are many church-sponsored activities for members, including dinners, Bible study, special events and social get-togethers. There are also groups for teens of all ages, a Vacation Bible School and a playground.
