Located on West Clifton Boulevard, Lakewood Congregational Church has been a valuable member of the community since its inception in 1905. This church also offers many programs, including youth and adult ministries, a music ministry and community outreach.
Forest Hill Presbyterian Church is a progressive Cleveland Heights church led by pastors John Lentz and Clover Beal. The church is committed to faithful social action, engaging worship, deepening faith journeys and listening for God's call. Established in 1952, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church has served as a place of worship for its parishioners during the last 15 decades. In the mid-1950s, it was decided two separate buildings would be constructed for the church and a school. Immaculate Heart of Mary School is now located behind the church, off of Lillis Drive.
The Brecksville United Methodist Church formed in 1823 shortly after the city was founded, which reflects its location in the center of town. The church focuses strongly on service and outreach and has a lot of interaction with the Brecksville community. The church also rents space to Horizons Preschool.
Prince of Peace Luthern Church offers additional educational services such as Vacation Bible school, confirmation class, women's discipleship groups, weekday Bible study and youth groups. There is a nursery service offered during Sunday worship and Sundy school that begins at 10:10am each Sunday.
The Disciples Christian Church, on Mayfield Road, can trace its roots all the way back to 1843 at its old location on Euclid Avenue in East Cleveland. Today the church offers a variety of services to the community and holds Sunday worship services at 9am, 10am and 11am. Ministries are available for children and adults, including a group youth trip to Chautauqua, New York, and adult mission trips to New Orleans. The Disciples Christian Church donates to the Heights Emergency Food Center and is a member of the Interfaith Hospitality Network.
This Greek Orthodox Church opened its doors on September 29, 1957. The first service was celebrated on Christmas Eve with 12 worshipers and 4 board members. Today, St Constantine is lead by Rev. Dr. Steven J Callos and Rev. Peter Metallinos and 12 council members. All families are welcome and can request membership in person or online. Worship services are held on Saturdays and various days throughout the week for special occasion. All dates and times are listed on their Web site. This parish recently started an education program from pre-k until 2nd grade. The first class consisted of 25 students in attendance. This is conveniently located on Mayfield Road in a residential neighborhood with on street parking or in the lot.
This church offers worship services on Sunday at 8:15am and 10:45 am with classes for all ages at 9:30 am. Childcare is also available during these services for children up to age five. Casual dress is encouraged.
