The Castle Rock Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that prevents crime, protects residents lives and their property, suppresses criminal activity, and apprehends and prosecutes offenders. It operates the Emergency Response Team (ERT), which deals with high-risk and dangerous situations, including barricaded persons, high-risk warrant arrests, explosive devices and heavily armed criminals. The Castle Rock Police Department has a support services division that is comprised of criminal investigations, victim assistance, records and communication units. The department also maintains an operations division that includes patrol, bike patrol, K-9, traffic and community policing units. The Castle Rock Police Department is located in Castle Rock, Colo.
