Children's Garden School is located in the historic, coastal town of Portsmouth. It is a private, state licensed preschool. It offers early childhood education for children ages three to five years.
Kellogg is a Seventh Day Adventist Christian school for kindergarten through ninth grade. Acceptance is not dependent on sex, ethnic origin, race, or socioeconomic background. The building is well maintained and provides a very spacious, fenced-in yard for the children to enjoy during free time.

It takes children from the ages of infant through 6. It also offers a gymnastics program for children over 3 years old. The school participates in the state's tuition assistance program. The Amherst Preschool is a non-sectarian school located at the Christ's Church of Amherst facility. Summer camp programs are also offered through the school.
