Established in 1983, Santa Fe Waldorf School is a nonprofit organization that offers academic education to students in preschool through grade 12. Its elementary school conducts classes in foreign languages, art, math, social studies, science, music, painting, gardening, games and physical education. The school also maintains a high school curriculum that includes English language and literature, natural sciences, history, senior independent research, practical arts and environmental field studies. Santa Fe Waldorf School also supports various fundraising activities and organizes various festivals, lectures, workshops and social events. It additonally provides education to kindergarten students in beeswax modeling, drawing, watercolor painting, woodwork, weaving, finger-knitting and various seasonal crafts. The school is located in Santa Fe, N.M.
