West Virginia Early Childhood Training Connections and Resources provides professional development opportunities for the early care and education community. It provides information, training and technical assistance, resources and collaboration to improve the quality of services for young children. It is a collaborative project of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources and the West Virginia Department of Education. It has a library that contains a wide range of resources, such as books, brochures, videotapes, training manuals, workbooks, curriculum guides, assessment tools and self-study modules. It also provides financial assistance to child care centers and family child care homes for both the self-study and validation process.
