Finberg School, once an elementary school in Attleboro, is one location of the Bi-County Collaborative, an organization that provides special education needs and services to students in Attleboro and its surrounding communities. Finberg is home to the Therapeutic High School program, which provides education to students with behavioral, neurological, psychiatric and emotional disabilities in grades nine through 12 and the Center for the Development of Essential Life Roles, a program which provides education for students ages 14 through 22 who have learning or emotional difficulties.
Brennan Middle School, home of the Bulldogs, is one of Attleboro's three middle schools. The school is located adjacent to Attleboro High School and the Irvin Elementary School. Brennan uses the National Science Foundation's Connected Mathematics Project, a program that teaches students how to use concepts, skills and procedures to study algebra, geometry, statistics and measurement.
Project Connect provides free parent education and support for families with children up to age 5 and those expecting children. Parents and children in Attleboro receive free support through informational resources, playgroups, monthly home visits (for ages pre-natal to 3) and workshops. The program is made available through Attleboro Public Schools with grant funding from Massachusetts Early Education and Care (EEC), Massachusetts Children's Trust Fund and the Parent Information and Resource Center/Federation for Children with Special Needs.
