McPherson Recreation Commission, established in 1946, offers a range of recreational facilities and programs. Its facilities include soccer, baseball, softball and T-ball playing fields. The commission also organizes volleyball, soccer, golf, football, tennis and basketball camps during the summer season. Additionally, it organizes industrial, church and women s league basketball tournaments during the winter season. McPherson Recreation Commission also provides adults and students various other sports activities that include volleyball and softball. Additionally, the commission organizes classes on cookery and paper crafts.
