The Strawberry Recreation District maintains a beautiful facility for local residents. In addition to waterfront views, marine wildlife and natural trails and parks, the aquatic center has a 5-lane pool, a spa, a wading pool, a sauna and a diving board.  There are also four tennis courts, two baseball fields, a gymnasium, meeting rooms and a play structure. This family ice arena contains an NHL rink and an international rink. The skate school offers many skating programs teaching parents, tots, teens and adults alike how to skate. There is also an introduction to hockey class for youth's ages 3 to 12 years old. Public skate and rental skates are available.

Champions Quest is a premiere Varsity and College Prep Athlete Academy dedicated exclusively to student athletes. This facility is a  year-round sports performance school for ages 8-18. Champion's Quest believes in combining the power of functional athletic training with the development of mental toughness to maximize athletic peak performance. The staff focus on improving athlete's mental game and athletic ability to fuel the competitive fire. Specific areas focused on depend on each individual athletes, but may include speed, strength, stamina, agility, quickness, power, flexibility, mental toughness, concentrationm coordination, injury pevention and recovery. Champion's Quest offers both individual and team training opportunities.

Four Lakes is a ski and snowboarding destination in Chicagoland. Ski and snowboard equipment rentals and one-hour ski lessons for adults and children ages 4 and up. The skiing area has four designated terrains determined by levels of difficulty.

Castel Del Mare is a condominium complex located near Siesta Key. The Mediterranean-style complex amenities include lush, tropical grounds, heated pool, internet access and cable television. The complex is also pet friendly.
