Established in 1832, William H. Sadlier is a books and educational materials publishing company that serves a variety of schools, dioceses, and parishes in the United States. The company was founded as D&J Sadlier and published an U.S. edition of Butlers Lives of the Saints, an American Catholic Bible, and devotional books, as well as a weekly Catholic newspaper, The Tablet. It also prints academic subject-related books for social studies, language arts and mathematics. William H. Sadlier publishes Sadliers God With Us religion series, which focuses on catechesis and is one of the popular programs in the U.S. Additionally, the company manages various Web sites that offer liturgy, scripture and Catholic social teaching resources for individuals and families.
