Approximately 1,050 active families compose this conservative congregation. Since 1993, Reverend Angelee Benner-Smith has served as pastor to the congregation at United Church of Christ. The pastor extends a warm welcome to all for Sunday worship at 10am. At United Church of Christ, Holy Communion takes place the first Sunday of every month, and family service is the third Sunday of each month. For those with musical talent, adult and children's choir participate in services throughout the year. United Church of Christ is involved in many outreach services, such as supporting West Chester Friend's Association in the care and protection of children, holding Alcoholics Anonymous meetings every Monday at 7pm and Gamblers Anonymous meetings every Tuesday at 7:30, and serving meals at The Salvation Army in West Chester on the first Thursday of each month.

St. Maximiliam Kolbe Parish is a Catholic church located in West Chester, Chester County. The church recommends new parishioners to register at the rectory and also to notify them of any change of address.

Baptism is celebrated each month on the first and third Sunday at 1:30pm. Expectant parents and godparents are to participate in Pre-Jordan, a seminar on Baptism. Pre-Jordan is held each month on the second Sunday at 1pm. Those who are unable to attend Mass because of illness are requested to contact one of the parish priests at St. Maximiliam and arrangements will be made for a home visit to receive Communion.

The Newman Center is a Catholic Campus Ministry at West Chester University. Although located at West Chester University, the Newman Center is open to all. The chapel is a beautiful stained glass room perfect for prayer and meditation.
