The Shirley Reaback Early Childhood Center is located in the Kol Haverim Reform Jewish Congregation facility on Hebron Avenue. It is an all-faith childhood development center that is available two to five days a week for nursery school, kindergarten, play days and extended days. Tuesday morning play groups and a six-week summer program with a themed curriculum are also available.
The Dyslexia and ADHD Institutes of America is located in the office buildings on Eastern Boulevard in Glastonbury and is dedicated to the diagnoses, treatment and education of learning disabilities, primarily Dyslexia and ADHD. Services include testing, diagnostics, one-on-one tutoring and assistance and education. The Institute also provides advocacy services in order to make the general public aware of these disabilities.
Creative Nursery School is a residential nursery school and day-care facility. The school accepts children ages 3 to 5 years old and offers two- and three-day programs with a curriculum based on creativity, personal expression and the development of the individual through social skills.
The Traveling Tutor offers tutoring services in math, science, and SAT/ACT preparation for students in grades eight to 12. Established in 1995, the business is run by Sherri Pranzo who focuses on teaching students how to teach themselves through positive reinforcement. Glastonbury Driving School is a locally owned and operated establishment with more than 40 years of teaching experience located on Hebron Avenue. The center has office hours six days a week and offers a variety of services including driving lesson home pickups, flexible classroom hours and on-site testing for students. All teenage programs include an eight-hour drug and alcohol course.
Glastonbury's public schools system consists of nine schools: one high school, one seventh- and eighth-grade middle school, a sixth-grade school and six K-5 elementary schools.
