Life Source Christian School provides Bible-centered education to children from pre-k to grade eight. A strong emphasis is placed on spiritual, academic, social and physical development.

The Maryand School for the Blind is located on Taylor Avenue between Parkville and Overlea. The school has been a part of Maryland since for more than 150 years, and moved to its current location in 1908. Named for the nearby Gunpowder Falls State Park, this bustling elementary school is one of Perry Hall's largest. With more than 500 students enrolled annually and a history of more than 40 years, it promotes high levels of academic achievement, volunteerism and a wide array of extracurricular activities. Students may participate in after-school tutoring, book clubs, the yearbook, a science fair, a jazz band and other programs.
Celebree Learning Center offers programs for children ages six weeks through 12-years-old. It has classes for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that are accredited through the state of Maryland. Celebree also provides before and afterschool care for school-age children. The Learning Center can also pick-up and drop-off children, if needed.
Gunpowder Tot Fun Center is a part-time pre-school located on the grounds of Gunpowder Elementary School.
ARTI-ST Music Education Center offers semi-private and private music lessons to students age 4 through adult. Group classes are also available. Lessons are offered for vocals, guitar and piano.
In a town with several private grade schools, the Heritage Montessori School sets itself apart with its self-directed learning environment, mixed-age groupings and individual curriculum-tailoring. Teachers embrace Maria Montessori's unique teaching method, developed more than a century ago in Rome, Italy. Students ranging from Pre-K to grade six are taught using a hands-on, interactive approach. Application fees and interviews are required prior to enrollment.
The Perry Hall Children's Center is a Cooperative Preschool that is run by a board of directors and is located at St. Michael's Lutheran Church. It has been in operation since 1972 and is accredited by the Maryland State Board of Education. Designed to be small, it only admits 14 3-year-olds and 18 4-year-olds, and part of the program requires parents to be present at the preschool sessions on a rotating basis, hence the co-operative part of the program.
The Perry Hall Learning Center is a small, neighborhood-style daycare center that also has a fully approved preschool curriculum. It was started in 1977 and has grown ever since. The director has been with the school for nearly all that time, and the assistant director has been there since 1995. The school offers programs for infants all the way up to school-age children, and it has full-time and part-time care available to parents.
