Founded in 1997, Arizona Agribusiness and Equine Center, in partnership with Maricopa Community Colleges, is a multiple campus, independent high school district. Each campus offers a college preparatory curriculum and enables students to earn college-transferable credits, while completing work for their high school diploma. AAEC s curriculum meets the standards set by the state of Arizona and is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The center also offers special education and related services to students with disabilities, under public supervision and direction, and at no charge to the parents. It provides various facilities to students, including a library, tutoring services, cafeterias, recreational facilities, theaters, language laboratories, a writing center and computer laboratories. AAEC s campuses are located in Phoenix and Mesa, Ariz.

Xavier College Preparatory is a Catholic private high school in Phoenix. The school is all-girls, with students coming from more than 100 feeder schools. It has been in operation for more than 60 years and was established by the Founding Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The school has an enrollment of more than 7,500 students and offers honors and advance placement classes in various areas of study ranging from English literature to art history. Its mascot is the gators. It has sports teams in badminton, basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball, tennis, and swimming and diving. The school also provides opportunities to students to participate in various extracurricular activities, such as music and philosophy clubs, liturgical music, Students for Social Action, student council, intramurals, and drama and computer clubs. Additionally, Xavier College Preparatory offers financial aid to eligible students through scholarships and work-study program.
