This school is Milford's Alternative Education program for high school students. The school teaches students who have had difficulty in past school environments. The school meets Milford Public Schools' academic standards and focuses on each individual's learning style to help students reach their full potential.
The new location is on the park-like grounds of the former Milford Academy.
The Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy, established in 1944, is an esteemed learning establishment for Jewish children from preschool through eighth grade. The school was founded on the ideals of Torah, and ethics and values are incorporated into every part of the school day.
The campus also is home to the Beth Chama High School for Girls, which provides the female students with traditional classes and inter-school conferences, art, drama, dance and Shabbatonim. It is known locally for its BCA Skirts Basketball Team.
The Academy offers some of the finest available techology, and offers computer classes in its curriculum. When they graduate, students have mastered all the skills necessary to succeed in college.
