Southeast High was again named one of America's top 500 public high schools by Newsweek magazine in 2010. It boasts top-rated student organizations such as its Key Club, FFA, Southeast Players (drama), its nationally ranked TV production broadcast news team and a world champion Formula One race car team that is part of Technology Students Association. Southeast operates an International Baccalaureate program; a Visual and Performing Arts Academy; an Agriscience, Business, Consumer Science Academy; and an Electronics Communications Center.

Founded in 1957, Palma Sola Presbyterian serves a congregation of about 300 under the guidance of its pastor, Reverend Doctor Paul T. Eckel. It offers before- and after-school care, as well as a preschool that operates out of its building and serves about 130 students.
Manatee Technical Institute (MTI) is a state-supported school that offers employer-driven career education for high school and adult students. Its 30-acre campus, located in West Bradenton adjacent to Bayshore and Central high schools and just north of State College of Florida, has 23 permanent buildings and more than 20 portable classrooms. There is also an MTI branch campus located in East Manatee.
MTI students have earned more SkillsUSA medals than any other school in the nation. The school offers valuable job training for students who will soon enter the workforce or adult students looking to improve their skills or qualify for higher paying jobs. MTI is more affordable than many alternatives and offers financial assistance. Students can enroll in a variety of online training courses.
This charter school caters to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the school houses 36 classrooms situated on approximately 35,000 square-feet. The curriculum strives to invite parent participation and promotes individual and group growth in a safe, challenging learning environment.

About 1,500 members congregate each week under the high-arched ceilings of Trinity's sanctuary and are led in worship by senior pastor James Rosenburg. Its grounds are home to a gym, fellowship hall and the Trinity Children's Center preschool. The church hosts Wednesday family dinners, faith groups and other activities.
SCF, formerly known as Manatee Community College, became a "state" college in 2009 and offered its first four-year workforce degree, a bachelor of science in nursing, in addition to its emphasis on two-year degrees. It changed its name to better reflect its place in the larger community of Manatee and Sarasota counties. The main campus is located in Bradenton, with branches in Lakewood Ranch and Venice. It also operates a collegiate charter school, where high school students can simultaneously work toward an Associate in Art degree. More than 36,000 total students attend annually.
SCF is guided by Dr. Lars A. Hafner, who took over in 2008 as the college's fifth president. The school boasts five varsity athletics programs - women's softball, tennis and volleyball; men's basketball and baseball - who are nicknamed the Manatees in a nod to its previous encarnation as Manatee Community College.

Programs for football, lacrosse, golf, soccer, tennis, basketball and baseball are all available, as are overall training programs and camps. IMG Academy is a fully-accredited school with programs for students in pre-K through the twelfth grade, and also offers college placement services so students can continue their athletic endeavors.
