St. Joseph School offers programs and lessons for children in grades kindergarten through eight. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges. A new wing, which includes a gym and increased the school's floor space 30 percent, was added in 2005, just prior to current principal Jimmy Sweeny's arrival. Rosemont is also a Title I school, so it receives federal funding because some of the students come from low-income families.
The Church of the Little Flower is a Roman Catholic parish located in Bethesda. It is associated with the Little Flower School and Rectory, both of which are housed on the wooded Massachusetts Avenue campus. While the church structure was built in 1948, the parish dates back to 1906. The church community offers sports groups, youth ministries and religious education.
