Cornerstone Elementary School caters to students in kindergarten through second grade. It is one of two elementary schools in the village. Cornerstone is located at 7480 Dan Hoey Road, just east of Baker Road. Its mission is to provide a quality education to students.
Johnson Nature Center is a 40-acre site that features an inland pond, a tributary of the Rouge River, various trees, flowers, deer, mink, and coyote. The site also features log cabins a Visitor Center and an outdoor amphitheater, which is used for classes, programs and meetings.
Atonement Lutheran Church has been serving the Dearborn community for more than 80 years. Located on Mead Street in East Dearborn, the congregation describes itself as a "vibrant fellowship of believers, living our traditional faith in a modern world." The church offers fellowship and study through its Men's Bible Class, which meets on the first Saturday of each month at 10am, and its Women's Bible Class, which meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:30am. Atonement's Ladies Aid and Senior group actively support local mission and outreach programs. The church also offers ESL classes to area residents.
