Welcome to the Chisholm Public Schools where we have been "Committed to High Expectations" for over 100 years. Those "Expectations" have successfully provided our graduates with the skills necessary to meet the challenges of our fast-paced world.

We are a middle-sized district located in the "Heart of the Iron Range". At Chisholm we strive to meet the needs of all learners. At the elementary grades we keep our classes small so our students can receive the instruction they need. At our high school Chisholm offers advanced classes for our college bound students, while providing a solid foundation for those planning to enter the work force upon graduation. Students are taught by highly qualified teachers in a safe and nurturing environment. Our newly remodeled classrooms have recently been updated with new energy-saving lighting and air-quality ventilation. Many of the classrooms are equipped with the latest in technology as a means of engaging todays learners.

But, Chisholm is more than just academics. We offer a wide variety of cultural, social, theatrical, musical and athletic opportunities for the students enjoyment-either as a participant or as a spectator. Chisholm is the home of the Bluestreaks and Bluestreak Pride. Our graduates have a long tradition of success in all walks of life that has extended to all four corners of this country and beyond. It is a tradition we strive to maintain.

The Chisholm Public Schools may be just the right fit for your child. I welcome the opportunity to discuss what we have to offer in greater length. I can be reached at 218-254-5726 ext. 2900.

Thank you for visiting Chisholm Public Schools and I look forward hearing from you.

Hope Christian Academy:: About Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. About Hope Christian Academy is an independent, non-denominational, community Christian School. In 1975, the Park Grove Christian Academy was founded by Park Grove Alliance Church of Cottage Grove, Minnesota as an alternative for those who believed that Christian values and ethics must be woven into every aspect of education spiritual, academic, and physical. It remained connected with, and subordinated to, the church ministry of that local church congregation for its first 31 years ( 1975 2006 ). In 1997, both the church and the school adopted new names, Hope Community Church and Hope Christian Academy, respectively. Effective on November 14, 2006, HCA filed for incorporation as a nonprofit corporation. This incorporation established HCA as its own legal entity separate from the founding church. Its directing school board is composed of nominees from sponsoring churches, while an advisory board is appointed for those non-board members wishing to have input to the operation of the ministry. HCA offers the best in computer technology, individualized Christian curriculum, interactive computer video enhanced learning, and one-on-one teacher/student relationships. Principles of Christian leadership, self discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship are still taught and "caught" at Hope Christian Academy. Without apology, Hope Christian Academy stands for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the highest standards of morality and Christian thought and behavior. The objective in building a private Christian school is to obey the Scriptural imperatives of Deuteronomy 6: 5-7, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children", and of Proverbs 22: 6 to "train a child in the way he should go". Teaching is training. Training for life must include training for eternity. A Christian school is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity. With this paradigm in mind, HCA parents are expected to initiate spiritual training at home and regularly attend a Bible believing church. Attendance at Hope Christian Academy is a privilege, not a right. Hope Christian Academy seeks and welcomes students of all races and academic abilities who seek or have a life changing faith in Jesus Christ. No academic weakness is too great not to be overcome with the love and power of God working in the student and through the school. No high potential learner is too advanced not to be discipled and inspired to greater achievement through the schools individual curriculum and Biblical training. Hope Christian Academy is approved by the U.S. government to issue I-20 forms to qualifying F-1 foreign students for high school education. The enrollment process is initiated with a written application and submission of the registration fee. Hope Christian Academy accepts students without regard to race, color, sex, or national or ethnic origin who are willing to abide by its principles and objectives.
