Upper Dublin Evangelical Luthern Church has been a place of worship in the Ambler community for more 250 years. Over time the church's mission has developed into being an inviting place to practice faith, leading to the church's motto, "A Welcome Place." A congregation of roughly 360 meets during one of three Sunday worship times at 7:45, 9 and 10:30am. During services, a Sunday nursery and school is available. The church also runs a number of youth, music and mission programs, in addition to study groups and other services. The church also enjoys the use of a playground and multi-purpose room. Chelten Child Development Center is a pre-school that serves children from 13 months of age to pre-K. It is a ministry of the Chelten Baptist Church. It offers weekday learning programs with a variety of partial and full-day schedules available. The pre-school helps children learn through guided play, promoting cognitive, physical, social and spiritual growth. It incorporates Christian values into activity and lessons, and offers a curriculum that aligns with state standards.
Armenian Sisters Academy is a private Christian school serving approximately 165 students from first through seventh grade. The school offers a well-rounded curriculum following Montessori philosophy. Academics are enhanced by Armenian language and culture and by Christian values.
