The Senior Activities Center offers many services and activities for the community including daily lunch, health services, senior information and assistance, field trips, aerobics, meals-on-wheels, volunteer opportunities and an assortment of recreational activities including craft classes. Daily lunches prepared at the center are available Monday through Friday (11:45am Monday - Thursday and 11am on Fridays). A suggested donation of $3 is requested for seniors age 60 and older; the lunch costs $5.75 for those age 59 and younger.
Visitors enter into a communal activities room facing Cole Street, which is where guests can check in. Nearby is the entrance to the next room, a dining area where the center's offices are also located. The center is typically open from 8am to 4pm Mondays through Thursdays and 8am to noon on Fridays. Expressions at Enumclaw is an assisted living facility designed for seniors suffering from dementia and memory loss. The community is composed of two group homes, with about 26 residents living in each. The environment is relaxed and comforting, and meals and activities are scheduled at the same time to provide stability for residents. The residents are able to participate in daily activities and may take advantage of the facility's amenities, such as family rooms, salon, dining area and a spa that offers massages, waxing, manicures and pedicures, facials, aromatherapy and relaxation exercises. Both homes are equipped with safety features and emergency care and offer services 24 hours a day. The facility provides guests with memory care, physical therapy and hospice services.
