North View Lanes, a full-service bowling facility located inside an older strip mall is spacious, bright and immaculate on the inside. It has a large banquet room upstairs for birthdays or other gatherings. North View Lanes offers a broad menu of hot grill fixings and drinks to include cold beer. Black light bowling is popular on the weekends when it is open until 2am. Some fun extras inside include a jukebox and a separate arcade room with both classic and newer video games. The location has an ATM machine on site, but North View accepts all forms of plastic as well. At $1.50 per game and $1.50 for shoe rental, it makes for an affordable family experience or date night. The owner, Darryl Edwards has been in business since 1989.
Lake Waldo's Beach Swimming Area & Campground is a family fun park that includes a water park, fishing pond, campground and plenty of room to play. Reservations for the campground can be made via telephone.

The facility boasts both covered and uncovered driving range turf spots on natural grass to practice your swing or take lessons. The pro shop stocks a range of golf goods from polo knit golf shirts, towels, to various brands of gloves. The shop caters to all ages of golfers at all levels including children. Ed Badgett, the manager, instructor and club designer has been creating kids clubs for years. In the effort to get kids interested in golf, the shop hands out award certificates to local schools and rewards kids with a free bucket of balls for meeting their educational goals if they bring in their report card. Carver’s Falls Golf Company Range & Pro Shop is known for hosting several Remax World Long Drive events brining several well-known golfers through Fayetteville and their pictures are displayed along the top boarder of the walls inside the pro shop. The shop is located off the beaten path, around the bend next to ZipQuest on Carver's Falls Road. The sign is small and unassuming as you round the corner, but you can’t miss the driving range.
Deeproots Bodywork & Rolfing is a local gym that specializes in facial and cranial muscular exercises. Pilates, yoga and general fitness classes are also taught on-site, and the gym includes fitness equipment so members may work out during their own self-paced sessions. Specialty rolfing, structural bodywork and other treatments can be arranged online or in person at the gym.

Line Drive is a driving range conveniently located in town off of Sycamore Dairy Road. On the weekends, it is packed with golfers or people trying to improve their swing. It does not offer a pro shop, so bring your gear.

Curves is a women-oriented gym with modern fitness equipment. Women can take classes or spend time working out on equipment or free weights. Round-A-Golf is a miniature golf facility. It is situated beside the Round-About Skating rink. The grounds are well-kept and golfing is done outside. A food store is on-site for golfers needing a drink or quick snack. Families are welcome and there are also indoor amusements like arcade games.
The Charlotte Blume School of Dance offers tap, ballet, jazz and limited floor gymnastics classes. Students range in age from pre-school to high school. Registration is done by appointment only, since the office is located in a different building from the dance studio. The building is located off Morganton Road in historic Haymount.
The Women Only Fitness Center in the Tallywood Shopping Center is the only female gym in Fayetteville equipped with a pool. This health club has been in business for more than 20 years and has a staff of certified health and fitness professionals. The facilities offer strength-training machines, free weights and cardio equipment.
The Climbing Place is located in downtown Fayetteville and has been serving this area since 1995. There are daily pass rates, memberships, group rates and special events available. Summer camps are held at this establishment. There are also classes to improve climbing techniques.

J & O Bingo offers a spacious parlor with smoking and non-smoking rooms where separate games are called. Food and coffee are available, but outside food and drinks can be brought in. J & O Bingo has been in business since 1986, and prizes are awarded for $500 games. Prices vary, but the 3 pack for $9 and 8 pack for $12 are the most popular choices. Bingo markers can be purchased on sight.
Rolands Dance is a dance studio where anyone can learn the steps to most dance styles. The studio offers classes, events and individual dance instruction. The studio specializes in Ballroom, Salsa, Shag, Swing and Argentine Tango styles of dance. Parties and events can be hosted at this location with advance notice. Weddings and receptions can also be held on the premises.
