Bayside Yacht Club located on William Rosso Highway and Lake St. Clair, was formed in 1961 by boaters who worked at fisher body original called the Fisher Body Yacht Club. The name was changed a year later.
Since its original inception it has grown by the addition of the clubhouse and garage, patio deck and by its association with the Inter Lakes Yachting Association and by becoming a member of the "Anchor Bay Yachting Association."
