The Department Of Human Services operates under the government of the state of Hawaii. It administers a variety of programs to promote the independence, health, personal dignity and self-sufficiency of residents. The department is comprised of Housing Support, youth services, and benefit, employment and support services divisions. The Department Of Human Services maintains a fatherhood commission that promotes healthy relationships between parents and children.
