The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, also known as OVR, is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. It offers a range of support services for people with disabilities. It employs a counselor who conducts interviews and assists customers in selecting vocational goals, services and service providers. It operates the Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services, which serves visually impaired individuals. The office offers diagnostic services that include medical and psychological examinations and tests. It provides basic academic, vocational, technical, college, independent living skills, and personal and work adjustment training. In addition, the office offers physical and occupational therapies and wheelchairs and automobile hand-control systems.
