Drumthwacket is the official residence of the Governor of New Jersey.
The property is maintained by the Drumthwacket Foundation. Once owned by William Penn, founder of Pennsylvania, the house and grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Guided tours are available to the public most Wednesday afternoons.
Reservations are necessary. Schedule at least one week ahead.

Massachusetts state police are responsible for motor vehicle regulations and criminal law enforcement throughout the state. The headquarters and barracks are located in Framingham off of Route 9 East. This is the oldest statewide law enforcement agency in the United States. It is headed by Col. Marian McGovern. There are 2,300 trained officers and about 400 civilian staff members in the department.
