Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School provides specialized vocational and technical training to high school students. It offers vocational courses in auto body, automotive technology, carpentry, cosmetology, culinary arts, dental assisting, drafting, electrical and electronics. The institute s library and media center offers print resources, electronic databases and encyclopedias, word processing and on-line services. It has athletic teams for different sports that include cross country, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, baseball, Lacrosse, softball, and track and field. The institute has various clubs, including drama, National Honor Society, Students for Environmental Awareness, SKI Club, Team Harmony, FIRST Robotics, Fashion Club and Aviation Club. It is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The institute is regulated by the Massachusetts Board of Education and is a part of the Massachusetts network of regional vocational high schools.
