In operation since 1917, The Watson Institute serves the needs of children of ages 3 to 21 with several developmental disabilities. It serves children with autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, neurological impairments and serious emotional challenges. The institute provides diagnostic, educational and therapeutic support to children and their families. In addition, The Watson Institute offers medication management, counseling and outpatient services and a range of respite programs to children, adolescents and families. It also offers training and technical support to several educators, psychologists and therapists. The Watson Institute is located in Sewickley, Pa.
