VMS is home of the Indians. The middle school instructs about 480 students who are in grades 6th through 8th. The school leadership's focus is to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to reach a high level of academic achievement. Athletics offered at the school are football, girls and boys basketball, volleyball, boys and girls track, cross country, and wrestling.
