Washington County Public Library proudly serves the cities of Chatom, Millry, and McIntosh along with the entire Washington County area. Washington County Public Library takes an active role in the development of our county and community ; providing residents a place to learn, read or just relax in a beautiful comforting atmosphere. Washington County Public Library offers special areas of interest for children, teens and adults. We offer many special events like movies, genealogy workshops, reading programs and adult education classes. Washington County Public Library has two locations for your convenience ; the Main Library in Chatom, and a branch in McIntosh. Your library staff is committed to meeting your needs for reading, learning and information. We encourage you to join us by volunteering your time at Washington County Public Library.
