The Department of Youth and Family Services is located in Room 21 of the Forbes Municipal Building.Thedepartment is managed by a full-time director. The many services offered by the department include counseling for children and families, offering information about mental health and substance abuse issues, and providing referrals to appropriate service providers. The office also runs a summer youth program called Hot Summer Nights and employsa summer youth activities coordinator.
