The Pilgrim Hall Museum houses treasured possessions of those first courageous settlers. Among those irreplaceable treasures are William Bradford's Bible, Myles Standish's sword, the only portrait of a Pilgrim (Edward Winslow) painted from life, the cradle of New England's first–born, Peregrine White, the great chair of William Brewster and the earliest sampler made in America, embroidered by the teenage daughter of Myles Standish. The Museum is located in the heart of historic Plymouth Center.
Housed in a former fire house on Monmouth Street, the non-profit Brookline Community Arts Center offers a wide range of community art classes for adults, children and families. The center also organizes rotating exhibits of local and internationally renowned artists.
Free and reduced-cost classes are available for elderly residents and low-income children.

The Historical Society of Glastonbury was established in 1936 to preserve the town's historical heritage and to display it in an educational and entertaining manner. Its museum, located in the former town hall at 1944 Main Street, houses exhibits ranging from Native American artifacts to early 20th century items. The society maintains an extensive schedule of house tours and walking tours, and hosts the annual Farm Festival and Antiques Festival.
Sunset Lanes is the self-declared "Party House." Private parties are welcome for any occasion and can be thrown during regular bowling hours or during late-night Cosmic Bowling. The facility holds 24 lanes, as well as a lounge with a bar for bowlers over 21 and an arcade room for the kids.

Coonamessett Farm, a 20-acre farm and research enterprise, has been serving the community since 1989. Located in the East Falmouth village of Hatchville and owned by Ron Smolowitz, the farm offers a variety of products, services and activities. Farm animals include dwarf goats, sheep, alpacas, miniature donkeys, rabbits, chickens, ducks and turkeys. Visitors can pick their own vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs or browse the farm stand for jams, breads, herbal soaps and specialty grocery items. The farm offers educational tours for schools and community organizations. "Jamaican Night" on Wednesday nights in the summer is very popular with local residents.
Olives & Grace is an artisan shop featuring products made from emerging artists, gift producers and small batch food makers, such as Bee Local from Portland, Ore., and Mike's Hot Honey from Brooklyn, N.Y.
Located at the Boston Center for the Arts on Tremont Street, The Beehive is a restaurant and bar serving dinner nightly and brunch on the weekends. Open daily, the Beehive offers a full bar and regularly scheduled live music performances, as well as a menu of small plates, raw bar fare, fish, steaks, sandwiches and more. Showcase Live is a 16,000-square-foot performance venue that features live performances from the top artists in jazz, rock, country, hip hop and more. With over 650 students, Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre is the place to be if you want to dance and sing. Open since 1998, the studio provides a place for both beginners and accomplished dancers of all ages to explore many different disciplines. Classes offered include ballet, tap, jazz, modern, pointe and hip-hop. Also available are pre-dance classes for ages 2-1/2 to 4. Voice and piano lessons for any level are provided, as well as swing choir classes for those who want to combine their love of singing with dancing to pop and Broadway music.
Laser Quest is located inside of the Kaleidoscope mall off of Crown Valley Parkway. Laser Quest is great for birthday parties, private events and any other sorts of gathering. Children must be at least 5 years old to be able to participate.
Dress comfortably to play Laser Quest, and wear low-heeled shoes. The parking is located on the bottom level of the mall.
This is a local organization dedicated to recording and performing quality orchestral music. A joint team of composers and musicians work to both re-create familiar classic pieces and compose new scores. For further information, see the group's website.
The Hiller Aviation Museum, located at the San Carlos Airport, is an aircraft history museum founded by Stanley Hiller, Jr. The museum specializes in Northern California aircraft and helicopter history. Its mission is to stimulate and engage its visitors to discover the past, celebrate the present and imagine the future of aviation. Hiller's is educational and fun for the whole family.
