The Nassau County Police Benevolent Association has been in existence for over 80 years. It helps supports police officers in Nassau County. The association strives to maintain a good working environment for the officers in Nassau County. Since the inception of the Nassau County PBA there have been 21 different presidents that have worked to provide a helpful and succesful association. It is located on the southwest Corner of East Jericho Turnpike and Pershing Parkway.
Chartered in 1919 by the United States Congress, the American Legion is the country's largest veterans' service organization, with more than 2.5 million members.
The Larchmont chapter of the American Legion (Post 347) has been in Flint Park for over 45 years.
The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce is a compilation of businesses, non-profit organizations, and community-minded residents in the heart of Westchester County. The Chamber actively sponsors community events such as, Sales Day, a September weekend street sale that draws thousands of people to Mount Kisco; Citizen of the Year Awards Dinner Dance; and a Holiday Tree Lighting Festival.
Membership fees are based on the number of employees or members in a business or organization. Members and their companies or organizations are listed on the Web site with links to their Web sites. Members can advertise, receive a monthly newsletter, and be a part of the yearly publication, LifeStyles Magazine.
Since 1947, Manhasset Bay Sportsmen's Club has been located on Manhasset Island. The fishing club is conveniently located right on the docks and offers fishing services as well as creates a gathering place for fishermen to socialize. The facility has an indoor dinning area as well as picnic tables on the dock.
The Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. They instill ideals such as being involved with your community, supporting good family values and helping your local Catholic church, all while enhancing your own Catholic faith.
Located on the North West corner of 15th Street and West Street, across from the Ralph G. Caso Executive and Legislative Building, is the Nassau County Bar Association. This group was founded over 100 years ago and currently has over 6,000 members. It is noted as the largest suburban bar association in the United States. As a group, the members strive to give the best legal experience to customers that they defend. The members of the group are from all sides of the legal forum, including associates from large and small law firms, solo practitioners, government attorneys, court-appointed attorneys, ADA's and judicary officials.
The building that houses the Nassau County Bar association is quite unique. The brick structure features a lofty ceiling in the conference room that lets light in through numerous stained glass windows. The building also features its own dining hall for members and guests.
