Vannguard Urban Improvement Association is a non-profit organization formed in 1971 and incorporated in 1975 to provide job skills training and preparation for economically disadvantaged teens and young adults.

Some of its free programs include Progressive Adolescent Vocational Exploration (PAVE) for youth, ages 14-18. PAVE aims to curb high school drop-out rates by developing competencies for alternative career paths and entrepreneurship through computer skills and vocational job training. Other programs include college prep, annual college tours, after school homework assistance, summer day camp and the Youth Employment Program (YEP).
