City Hall Plaza houses the mayor's office as well as the Board of Aldermen, the policy-making organization of the city of Nashua. It holds regular meetings that are open to the public.

In addition to an extensive selection of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs, the Nesmith Library offers computers with internet access, WiFi, museum passes, story time for toddlers and preschoolers, classes and events for all ages.
Through the GMILCS consortium and the Common Borrower Card program, Nesmith library cards provide access to more than a million items through twelve area libraries.
