Memorial Lutheran Church located at Lincoln Way follows the Lutheran church beliefs and principles of worship. The church offers student fellowship, student, youth and adult ministries, continuing religious education and worship.
Youth & Shelter Services located on Kellogg Avenue was created to help children have access to safety, guidance, and caring adults. Some of the programs offered include counseling, runaway help, after school programs, adolescent pregnancy prevention, adoption services, and more. Supported through membership donations, the Nature Reserve was established in 1976. The 300-acre wooded isle offers many activities and experiences to its visitors, including summer camps. The reserve is located right in the center of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo area.
Two buildings on the grounds provide space for weddings, receptions, parties, retreats, meetings and gatherings. Events can be scheduled at the rustic Interpretive Center and the Gene & Betty Buckles Program Center (aka the Green Building). Call the office for reservations or questions.
Hillel Foundation, also known as Hillel House, is located on the edge of the University of Iowa campus. It offers members of the Jewish faith a positive, friendly place to hang out. Students enjoy a beautiful garden, a Judaic library, a Kosher kitchen and cafeteria, lounges, Internet access and computers. The staff hosts religious services, holiday dinners, lectures and other activities.
Kcrg Tv9 located on Clinton Street is a local TV station and an ABC affiliate. It offers five local news programs at 5am, 6am, 11am, 5pm and 10pm.
