Founded in 1980, the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) is a statewide organization in California that promotes public policy, advocacy, training and technical assistance on the issue of sexual assault. CALCASA s affiliate membership includes organizations, businesses, individuals and others committed to the elimination of sexual violence. Its Rape Prevention Resource Center hosts a library with a comprehensive collection, including more than 7,000 books, periodicals, curricula, resource guides, videos and audiotapes.
