The Planning Council is a child care center in Perry Hall. It services the Virginia and Maryland areas, working to prevent homelessness, train child care providers, offer crisis intervention and help parents balance work and family. White Marsh Child Care is located in the Festival at Weis shopping center. Lessons are available in Spanish and for the hearing impaired. White Marsh also offers the Open Court reading program, which is available in Baltimore County public schools.
Celebree Learning Center offers programs for children ages six weeks through 12-years-old. It has classes for infants, toddlers and preschoolers that are accredited through the state of Maryland. Celebree also provides before and afterschool care for school-age children. The Learning Center can also pick-up and drop-off children, if needed.
Metro Maryland Youth for Christ is a youth group that works with local churches to promote belief in Christ through prayer and volunteer work. It looks for volunteers from adults and teenagers, and it offers many opportunities for service to the community.
The Baltimore Elit Martial Arts Academy offers classes on martial arts for all age groups. Their classes cover all types of martial arts including Tae Kwon Do and Jiu-Jitsu. Self defence, children's, and weapons classes are also offered. Introductory courses are offered to help beginners get their foot in the door and to find out more about martial arts. The academy also trains for tournaments and events. Their location offers several large practice rooms and there is a full parking lot for visitors.
The Perry Hall Learning Center is a small, neighborhood-style daycare center that also has a fully approved preschool curriculum. It was started in 1977 and has grown ever since. The director has been with the school for nearly all that time, and the assistant director has been there since 1995. The school offers programs for infants all the way up to school-age children, and it has full-time and part-time care available to parents.
