Currently, the FDA is closing down these types of busniesses. At First Look, our sonographers are RDMS or RDMS eligible. This means they have graduated from an accredited school of sonography, and gained diagnostic experience by Licenseed Professional Sonographers in a hospital setting. IS YOUR BUSINESS ACCREDITED? Yes, we are the only ultrasound facility in Hawaii who is a member of the AAUIF therefore, we are bound by strict guidelines concerning our equipment, staff and protocals. All of our techs are graduates of an accredited school of SONOGRAPHY and are RDMS or RDMS eligible. We follow strict guidelines concerning staff and equipment. NO, we never take the place of your doctors or health care providers appointment. Although our technicians are capable of completing a diagnostic scan, it is in no way intended to detect abnormalities. We provide limited information which includes fetal position, confirmation of heart beat, amniotic fluid and number of babies.
