He was a clinical associate professor at Midwestern College of Medicine and has published papers in several peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. He’s also involved with several ongoing research studies.  Dr. Carlson was recently appointed treasurer and national executive board member for the American Society of Pain and Neurosciences (ASPN). He is also the current president of the Arizona Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (AZSIPP).
