Northeast Pharmacy Service is a private pharmaceutical group with offices located on Worcester Road in Framingham. Its services include wholesale pharmaceuticals and related items for members who join its organization. It was formed by four independent Massachusetts pharmacists and has grown tremendously over the years.
A privately held pharmaceutical company, Braintree Laboratories, Inc. began its practices with the introduction of GoLYTELY, a gastrointestinal lavage used primarily for or bowel cleansing prior barium enema x-ray examination and colonoscopies. Since that product's introduction in 1984, Braintree Laboratories, Inc. has become a fully integrated pharmaceutical company. Complete with manufacturing facilities, Braintree Laboratories, Inc. also has a sales and marketing division, a warehousing operation and a development team for new ideas and products.
Nova Biomedical develops and manufactures biosensors. It offers products such as clinical analyzers, handheld point-of-care analyzers, self-testing meters, biotech analyzers and more. It also offers contracted services for development and manufacturing.
Smith's Drug is a local and independant pharmacy that has served the local community since it's inception in the 1890's. All manner of over-the-counter and prescription drugs are available here, along with a wide stock of medical goods like crutches, bandages and various creams. A very wide selection of greeting cards are on hand, but there isn't much in the way of food, beverages or household items.
